Your use of Jan Roscoe Publication’s (JRP) website is subject to the terms and conditions on this page and the pages linked to it. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the site is up to date and accurate, we are reliant on information from many sources and so subject content is as accurate as it can possible be.
Your order for JRP products and services is subject to the following terms and conditions which change from time to time. However, your order will be subject to the version of the terms and conditions on our website at the time when you place your order.
Our website product list contains around 30,000 records and focuses mainly on the Secondary School market (including Sixth Form and Tertiary Colleges). If you are unable to locate a product on our website, please contact us directly by phone or email. We would be grateful for information on any resources that you could recommend that are currently not listed within the website.
You can sample our JRP products here.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time. We update our product information, for our website on a weekly basis, using Nielson data feeds. This information is occasionally incorrect, but we do our best to check prices.
As stated above, prices for new publications (not yet published) are provisionally priced, and therefore may be subject to change.
We will do our best to fulfil your order but cannot guarantee to do so. All products (not yet published) will be recorded and sent out to you following the publication date. Prices for not yet published products are provisional. Recorded dues will be invoiced at time of release unless you request otherwise.
This feature offers you a great chance to buy your school subject resources and benefit from enhanced discounts. You will reduce your workload, increase your discount by placing a whole-school order. We can provide you with a quote, so please contact us direct.
The most effective way to identify a book is with the ISBN – International Standard Book Number. The ISBN is a 13 digit number that begins 978. It is unique to each book and knowing the ISBN makes books ordering easy. Once you have the ISBN, a book can be found without the title or the author. It is the most accurate way of providing a quote. The ISBN can be found above the barcode on the back cover of a book or on the title page inside the front cover. The ISBN will also be listed on all publisher marketing materials.
When you place your order you are committed to pay for it when you press the 'Buy Now’ button at the end of the checkout process. We will confirm we have received your website order place and acknowledge that your order is being processed. However, no order is accepted and no contract is created between you and us unless and until we dispatch any physical items to you, or we give you access to any online resources or downloads.
To help you navigate through this process, follow the steps below:
Jan Roscoe Publications is registered for valued added tax (VAT). Our VAT registration number is GB 582 0743 40. The price stated on our Website is exclusive of any applicable VAT. For UK customers, VAT at the prevailing rate will be charged where applicable. A breakdown of any VAT charged will be shown on the paper VAT invoice or on your digital receipt.
For European Union customers, VAT will be applied to your order, where it is legally appropriate for us to do so, and will appear on the paper invoice or on your digital receipt. VAT will be payable at the applicable rate and may vary from country to country.
If you are registered for VAT within the EU and do not wish to pay the tax on eligible products you will need to inform our Customer Services Department on +44 (020) 8644 7788.
For other customers outside the European Union and UK, VAT or other sales taxes may be charged where it is legally appropriate for us to do so.

Access to our online resources, such as Kerboodle, is provided on a subscription basis, or for a fixed licence period. Please refer to the description of the individual resources for detail of the duration of access, and whether any subscription will automatically renew.
Sometime before the expiry of your subscription or licence period, we will contact you. If you have purchased an annual subscription which automatically renews, then it will automatically extend for a further 12 months at the end of each period. If you want to cancel your subscription you must notify us at [email protected] at least 30 days before the new period begins. You may not cancel part way through a subscription year. Services with a fixed licence period will come to an end when the licence period expires, unless you tell us to renew.
Each individual subscription is for use only by the person(s) or organisation (and its staff and pupils) specified on the order form and may not be shared with anyone else.
